Employment Services

Felony records put several roadblocks for returning citizens, one of which is employment. With the Village Initiative’s wraparound services, our job specialist has several felon-friendly employers who are willing to hire participants. The Employment Service is designed to assist the Participant in finding F/T gainful employment or Apprenticeship programs to master a certain skill set such as CDL driver. We also provide Job Readiness classes that are also mandated to review the Interview process. The Employers range from a host of occupations depending on the participant’s skill set. (Warehouse, Retail, Technical, Restaurants, Hospitality, CDL Drivers, Customer Service, Medical, Security, etc.).

These services are available for anyone who is in need of employment and has completed the TVI Intake process (dislocated worker, second chance participant, H.S. or College graduate, etc.).
