Addiction Recovery Programs

State-Approved Drug & Alcohol Counseling

The Village Initiative Addiction Recovery Program is a State of Kansas licensed agency that services the metropolitan area for lower-level drug and alcohol offenses and for self-referred individuals with addiction concerns. Our main clientele are the returning citizens who have been released from incarceration with addiction issues. We hope to empower these individuals with the skills necessary to maintain a healthy substance-free lifestyle in their journey to a new life.

Within the Village, we also address related dual issues to substance use disorder such as anger, grief, and other mental health issues that we identify as co-occurring concerns. Our program offers support groups for these individuals or one-on-one counseling as needed.

More specifically, our agency offers:

  • Drug and Alcohol Assessments
  • Diversion and Outpatient Treatments
  • Early intervention education
    • 8 hours of classes,
    • 2-4 individual counseling sessions,
    • Breathalyzers and Urinalysis upon request
  • Level 1-Outpatient Treatment
    • 12-15 hours of classes,
    • 2-4 individual counseling sessions,
    • Breathalyzers and Urinalysis upon request
